Behind the Scenes: Rehearsals

As the excitement builds for Hairspray the Musical’s opening night in Leicester this Wednesday, 9th September, we’re taking you behind the scenes with a sneak peak of rehearsals. Our fabulous cast have been working hard perfecting choreography, nailing those high notes and getting into the 1960’s vibe.
It all started a month ago with a full cast and creative team meet and greet.
The cast were in high spirits and getting excited about the journey ahead.
The cast got vocal in the first day of singing rehearsals…
…they broke a sweat learning choreography for iconic numbers including Good Morning Baltimore and Mama I’m a Big Girl Now…
…and shared their journeys on social media to get you all in the Hairspray mood!
